Founded in 1992 by Rob Burns, Calumet R&C’s humble beginnings start as Rob repairing wooden shingles for his neighbors on Calumet Drive in Plano, Texas. Now, over 30 years later, Calumet R&C has expanded to provide roof, gutter, fence, and hail restoration services for the broader DFW and North Texas area.
Prior to the company’s founding, Rob began working on roofs in 1985 while attending college at Trinity University in San Antonio, Texas. Once he graduated in 1989, he pursued an MBA at the University of Texas - Dallas, receiving his master’s two years later in 1991, all while continuing to work as a roofer in the Dallas area. A year later and Calumet R&C was born. Cumulatively, Rob has nearly 40 years of experience in the roofing and hail restoration industry. He applies this expertise to all aspects of his business, involved from first estimation to project completion to deliver quality services at a fair price and ensure customer satisfaction.
